Christians: Do you view Intelligent Design as religious heresy?
Intelligent Design uses revisionist gymnastics to make the bible agree with science. “A day isn’t a day, a day is actually a billion years… etc.”
The “theory” of Intelligent Design bears no resemblance whatsoever to the creation account from Genesis. Therefore, Intelligent Design is committing heresy by coming up with there revisions.
Personally, I have more respect for Creationists than for ID advocates, because at least Creationists have more honesty.
Actually it is more of an Agnostic approach.
However a few “crazies” have tarnished the ID theory and now the science community won’t touch it.
Some Atheists see it as a way of Christians trying to “sneak” God into the classroom and some Christians see it as a way for other religions to “sneak” into the classroom.
ID actually isn’t heresy to Christianity, unless you’re very fundamental. The Bible doesn’t truly give an age to the Earth.
