My boyfriend has horrible black circles around his eyes. What would be a good way to get rid of them?
I dont know what to do! He always looks like a racoon or a zombie no matter how much sleep he gets. And he doesnt just have dark circles under his eyes, he has them all the way around! I joke that he could dress up as Frostie the snow man by painting his nose like a button because he already has the eyes made out of coal. Please help!
No I do not beat him up! He is three times my size. I cant even tickle him!
He has always had them. Well at least for the past five years that I have known him. He sleeps a lot and doesnt do drugs. I think it might be a nutirent deficientcy of some kind but I dont know.
Significant dark circes under the eyes are often a sign that there is a physical cause. Allergy is the most common cause of this, but not the only one. If it is allergy, try any of the OTC medications available at the store to see if that helps.
If that doesn’t help and he has chronic digestive complaints of any kind (stomach ache, gas, constipation or diarreah, etc) try an allegy identification diet to see if it is a food allergy. To do these, he will need to fast for 2 days then introduce one pure (one ingredient) food every few days. When symptoms return, looking at what food was newly introduced can often isolate a food trigger. There may be more than one, so keep going with the identification diet for a while. Rice is typically the first food to be reintroduced – no butter or seasonings other than plain salt. From there move to a vegetable, a fruit, a meat (watch for injected subtances and flavorings), a dairy, and a grain. Grains and dairy are very common allergens so be especially alert after one of these are introduced.
Other than allergy, other causes are lack of sleep and drug use. Those should be pretty easy to eliminate though if they are not the cause.
Until a physical reason is turned up, dark circles can be concealed with concealer make up. Since he is a guy though, he will probably feel the dark circles are better than that.
