Are intelligent design apologists guilty of non-compatible syncretism with science?
Well it certainly seems unlikely that the world was created in 7 days, so non-compatible maybe. But I think that many atheists offer up evolution as an reason that God doesn’t exist. I don’t think they necessarily have to be mutually exclusive ideas. Why couldn’t God have created evolution? Why can’t we consider evolution to be a form of intelligent design? People who believe in a literal translation of the bible will argue with that. But then again, so will atheists. I guess you can’t please everybody.
